Webinar Abstract

This webinar is focused on how to develop a proposal for conferences or other training events that meets standards used by the American Psychological Association (APA) for granting continuing education (CE) credit for psychologists. These CE credits may be used by other healthcare professionals also, depending on licensure requirements. Criteria used by APA that are addressed in this webinar are generalizable to many other disciplines and academic-professional presentation venues.

We will also discuss the forthcoming CARAS Conference: Leather Kink Research and Clinical Knowledge (C2C) - West. The C2C “West” will be held in Los Angeles, CA over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, November 24-26. 2023. Proposal submissions are due by Monday, September 18, 2023.

Learning Objectives

  2. Describe Bloom’s Taxonomy and its relationship to the development of adult education.

  3. Apply criteria for behavioral learning objectives to cases in alternative sexualities education.
